A Song That Was Never Meant to Belong to One Voice

The Kindness Is Contagious Choir Challenge is a public health campaign brought to life through music, created in recognition of World Kindness Day on November 13.

It began with a song. Dr. Marleece Estella — physician, musician, and creator of Kindnesscise® — wrote "Kindness Is Contagious" to capture a simple truth: kindness moves from person to person. One act can inspire another. One voice can influence another. And enough voices together can change the atmosphere around us.

That message needed more than one singer. It needed a choir — in fact, it needed many choirs.

Now we're inviting choirs, schools, churches, universities, community groups, and musical organizations everywhere to learn the song, perform it, and help spread kindness through the power of music.

There is no fee to participate, and this is not a competition. It's a volunteer initiative built to bring people together and put more kindness into our communities.

Nominate the Next Choir

Fill out a quick sign-up form to bring your choir, school, church, or community group into the Choir Challenge. We'll send you everything you need to get started so your group can learn "Kindness Is Contagious" and make it your own.

Once you've rehearsed, it's time to bring the song to life. Record or perform "Kindness Is Contagious" live, on video, or at an event — however works best for your group — then submit your performance details so we can feature it during Performance Week, November 8–13, leading up to World Kindness Day.

Kindness moves from person to person, and this challenge works the same way. Nominate another choir, singer, or group to join in and carry the song forward. One voice becomes many — and that's how we make kindness contagious.
